Key Assignment: PowerPoint Presentation

In this final project, you will be creating a PowerPoint presentation of 6–8 slides, including speaker notes. All references must have APA formatting within the speaker notes. The minimum of 6 slides does not include the introduction or reference slides.

Key Assignment Scenario:

You have been asked to provide a presentation to the new employees in your organization. Using the information that you have used in your previous assignments, your should prepare a PowerPoint presentation to educate them on the following:

• Identify 2 departments in the organization and identify their contribution to the organization (i.e. medical records department/health information management manages the health informaton of the organization, human resources, dietary, nursing, rehabilitation services, social services, etc.)
• Identify at least 5 members of the health care team, and include the role of each member of the team.
• Identify and describe at least 2 government agencies affecting your organization.
• Identify and describe at least 1 agency that might accredit your organization.

You should create a submission that demonstrates your thought and understanding of the material discussed in this course. As indicated in the grading rubric (under the Student Expectations button), your ability to think about the material and synthesize the concepts and articulate current or future processes and issues is what is to be graded.
