Call or email the consulate of another country and ask them a few questions about the beauty industry in their country.

Possible questions to ask (based on what we discussed on Page 9 of the module:

1) How would one break into that market?

2) Could our favorite product get there? Would that market recognize its value?

3) How much is their beauty industry worth?

4) What is the biggest category?

5) Is their biggest category based on a specific material export (e.g., argon oil)?

6) What is the country’s gross domestic product (GDP)?

7) Are there international transportation/shipping challenges?

After asking these questions (and others that may come to mind), analyze the information to determine what type of products or brand could do well in this market. Be as specific as possible. For example, are skin whiteners big? If so, then bronzing and tanning products will probably not do well in this market. Think about what products could complement the kinds of products already popular in this market.

Summarize your findings and analysis in an essay of five (5) paragraphs minimum.
