Write an outline of an 8-session group counseling series for your chosen clinical issue that follows your selected theoretical model. – TERESA
Create a 15- to 20-slide Microsoft® PowerPoint® presentation and interactive demonstration, lasting 30 to 45 minutes, using your faculty-approved topic and theoretical model. Complete the following:
- Describe the clinical issue your team has selected, along with the theoretical approach studied. Complete the following:
- Describe the theory’s history and development.
- Describe the theory’s major tenets.
- Describe the theory’s specific application to group work.
- Explain the connection between the clinical issue and theoretical basis for group work.
- Describe how to facilitate 1 of the 8 sessions outlined in your group counseling series, including:
- Describe an interactive icebreaker that follows the chosen theoretical model.
- Describe how you would apply the theoretical model in an interactive group session with the class.
- Describe the activity’s relevance for the specific clinical issue selected.
