Acaydia School of Aesthetics LLC OSHA Standard 1910.178 Discussion Response
Please respond to Laura
Looking at the OSHA standard 1910.178, trying to read and decipher everything it says is complicated enough. I am sure that is one of the reasons that the standard is violated so much because of the amount to detail and reading you have to do to figure what you need to do for the industrial trucks. Another reason I am sure it is cited is the maintenance and training up keep for employers and employees to do. I can see where some employers skip on things because of the cost of the up keep on them. Most places offer on the job training for when it comes to powered industrial trucks, instead of spending the money and time for them to truly get certified to use them. I do not have any experience in dealing with powered industrial trucks in my workplace.
