Library Research

 

One one side of one sheet of paper, do the following.

1. In one sentence, state a common belief that you think is a misconception.

 

2. Briefly support the idea that this misconception is indeed common. (It does not have to be believed by the majority of people, but it should at least be an idea most people have heard.)

 

3. Using physical or online research, provide a verifiable source which you take to show that the common belief is indeed a misconception (that it’s false).

 

4. Explain why you believe the common belief is a misconception. Of course you may reference your source; however, you must also explain why you find this source to be sufficient.
