At the domestic level in the United States was a series of regulations on banks and social programs to protect citizens. On the international level was the establishment of the Bretton Woods institutions to protect against another global financial crisis. More than 80 years later, can we say that these changes had the intended effect? For your final assignment, develop a critical assessment of international financial institutions by addressing the following points:

• How have they impacted investor risk?
• How have they impacted currency rates and exchange?
• How have they impacted international banking?
