The Prompt:
Research one of the current issues for which strong advocates are needed such as children in poverty, homeless children, children who lack medical insurance, etc. Gather as much information as you can about the effects on children in all domains of development and where their needs lie.

Responses to the posts of other classmates should be several sentences in length and address the information contained in the other student’s original post, as well as the concepts within the text and course material. When you respond to classmates, please be respectful of other view points and make sure that your response is thoughtful, insightful, and extends the content of the initial response. Responses such as, “good job”, “I agree”, “I never thought of that,” etc. will not be counted as a productive response and will not receive any credit.
