- Note that “a difference in your everyday life” can be a positive, negative, or neutral thing; the difference doesn’t have to be really good or really bad. It just has to have an impact on your life.
- In 200 words, using Granfield’s “Making It By Faking It: Working-Class Students in an Elite Academic Environment,” explain and illustrate how working-class students do impression management to fit into a different social class. Use and reference Granfield.
- In about 200 words, explain and describe any impression management that have you personally done to fit into a certain social class.
- Give details. You could, for example, include your choice of clothing, your mannerisms, your possessions, your choice of friends, and so on. Note that the class can be above your own, below your own, or can even be the social class you believe you fit in best. The point here is that you’re doing impression management to fit into it.
