Strategic Marketing Plan Part 2 will include (part 1 is attached for your reference):
- Strategic Marketing Plan Part 1: The first part of the plan, along with any changes that may have made based on faculty feedback, should be included in your Part 2 submission.
- Product strategy: include any changes or additions to the product line, additional features and benefits, changes to packaging, quality levels, post purchase service and other augmented product features such as guarantees.
- Distribution strategy: include any changes to current channel strategies with emphasis on value chain delivery of value to customers, change in fulfillment processes, retail and online channels and any other channel issues that may be germane to your product.
- Pricing strategy: include any changes to current pricing strategy or new pricing strategies that may be needed as a result of product or distribution changes.
- Marketing Communications strategy: include a thorough discussion of marketing communications objectives and selection of appropriate promotion tools; as well as a creative strategy to support the target market and positioning strategy.
- Budget needs to achieve marketing objectives
- Marketing Metrics most appropriate to measure the plan’s progress to achieving the marketing objectives
part 2 of the marketing plan needs to be prepared as follows:
Format: The marketing plan will be a formal document with title page, table of contents, bibliography and executive summary. It should be prepared using a MS Word, double spaced, and no more than a 12-point typeface. It is recommended to use Times New Roman.
Length: You are encouraged to prepare a comprehensive marketing plan and use as many pages as necessary to adequately cover the marketing plan components. You are also encouraged to judiciously use exhibits and charts to support your marketing plan.
Citations: All statements of fact used to support analysis must be supported with academic sources. Do note use references older than 2010, unless it is to support a “classic” marketing component.
Style Guide: Papers should consistently use APA.
Grammar and Composition: Students should exhibit writing abilities consistent with a 400-level college course that would be acceptable in a business environment.
Presentation: Students should present their written work free of typos or distracting elements in their work.
Submission: Part 1 of the Strategic Marketing Plan should be submitted in the Assignment area: Part 1. It is due on Saturday of Week 5, not later than 11:59 p.m. Each student needs to submit the paper to his/her individual assignment folder for a grade.
