US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and COVID 19 Discussion
I’m working on a social science writing question and need an explanation and answer to help me learn.
Recently, protests against vaccine mandates have erupted in major cities worldwide. Discuss using article 23 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights subsections 1–3 the implications of the Covid–19 vaccine mandate and workers’ rights. In your opinion, do these vaccine mandates violate any subsection of the article?
Article 23 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights states:
1) Everyone has the right to work, to free choice of employment, to just and favorable conditions of work and to protection against unemployment.
2) Everyone, without any discrimination, has the right to equal pay for equal work.
3) Everyone who works has the right to just and favorable remuneration ensuring for himself and his family an existence worthy of human dignity, and supplemented, if necessary, by other means of social protection.
