Instructions for Country Project: Parts I and II
The purpose of this project (Country Project) is to familiarize you with an assigned country and its geo politico socio economic background. Before a company can think about exporting its products or services to foreign countries, it must study, analyze, and evaluate the background information of target countries.
Each student will be assigned a country randomly. Do not use another country than the one assigned to you. You will have to re do the project if you select a country on your own.

Country Project Part I (a total of 80 points)
For your assigned country, you must collect the following information and organize your project accordingly:
A separate cover page: Your Full Name, MU ID, Assigned Country

A separate content page: Table of Contents with page numbers

A separate summary page: A brief executive summary of your project

c. Main geographical features of the country: mountain ranges, main rivers,
ocean/sea, etc.

2. People (1 2 pages in an outline format) (10 points)
a. population and population/birth rates
b. Main ethnic groups and major religions with percentages
c. official language; other major languages spoken
d. Embed images/pictures of the above in this section
3. Economy (1 2 pages in an outline format) (10 points)
a. Gross Domestic product (in $ and growth rate)
b. A brief description of the country’s current economic condition
c. Three major exports; percentages (use charts)
d. Three major imports: percentages (use charts)
e. Currency and its rate with US $
f. Embed images/pictures of the above in this section
4. Technology & infrastructure (1 2 pages in an outline format) (10 points)
a. List of major airports and/or sea ports (embedded images/pictures)
b. List and Ownership of major radio/TV stations (state owned, privately owned or semi private)?
c. Percentages of Use of Internet and smart phones
d. Embed images/pictures of the above in this section
5. Common business customs/etiquettes: (3 5 pages using a paragraph format) (35 points) Briefly explain the topics below.
